TME7311/TME7312 provides a complete interface for a powered device (PD) to comply with the IEEE® 802.3af standard in a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) system. TME7311/TME7312 provides the PD with a detection signature, classification signature, and an integrated isolation power switch with inrush current control. During the inrush period, TME7311/TME7312 limit the current to 100mA before switching to the higher current limit (740mA) when the isolation power MOSFET is fully enhanced.A PG signal set to high indicates when the output is fully charged and pulls low when the output drops under the overload condition.The Automatic MPS function enables applications requiring very low power standby modes.TME7311/TME7312 automatically generates the necessary pulsed current to maintain the PSE power.
